Elsys ERS2SOUND Sound Sensor with Temp/RH/PIR/LUX/Sound is a sophisticated, continuously listening device designed to detect sound levels. This sensor monitors both peak and average sound levels, making it ideal for environments where sound levels are crucial, such as libraries, classrooms, airports, and similar spaces aiming for optimal environments. In addition to sound measurement, this sensor also includes sensors for indoor temperature, RHdity, light, motion, ensuring comprehensive monitoring capabilities. Its continuous listening feature ensures no sound events are ever missed.

ELSYS ERS2SOUND REQUIRES two ER14505 Lithium Battery (not included).

These sensors offer easy setup with multiple mounting options and replaceable batteries, making installation hassle-free without the need for wiring. They are powered by 3.6V AA lithium batteries, providing an estimated lifespan of up to 10 years, depending on factors like sampling frequency, transmission intervals, data rates, power consumption, and environmental conditions. All sensors are built using Semtech’s LoRaWAN stack, ensuring adherence to and certification with the most current LoRaWAN standards.

Configuration:  Configuring the Elsys ERS2SOUND LoRaWAN Sensors is simple with the “SensorSettings” NFC app, available on Android Play or iPhone. Remote updates to settings can be made via over-the-air downlinks, either during setup or in response to evolving needs.
