ELSYS-ERS-CO2 – LoRaWAN C02 Sensor

The ELSYS-ERS-CO2 is a compact LoRaWAN sensor designed to monitor safe CO2 levels within smart buildings, smart homes, schools, warehouses and other indoor installations.   Powered by two AA sized batteries, with easy installation, the ELSYS-ERS-C02 can operate for up to 10 years depending on the reporting frequency.

As well as CO2, the device also incorporates temperature, humidity, light and PIR movement sensors.  The device is lightweight and can easily be mounted via the screw-holes, or using commando sticky strips.   The sensor works over the LoRaWAN network for Licence-free communication over either private or public LoRaWAN networks.

ELSYS sensors are easy to deploy, with a range of mounting options and user-replaceable batteries offering wire-free installation. They are powered by one or two 3,6V AA lithium batteries. The Battery life is estimated to be up to 10 years but depends on sample interval, transmit interval, data rate, power output and environmental factors.  You can check the estimated battery life here: All our Elsys sensors are equipped with NFC for easy configuration with an Android phone. With the NFC mobile application, you can change sample rate, data rate, encryption keys, triggers, activation and much more. All of the sensors are built on the LoRaWAN stack from Semtech.  The device is fully CE Certified.

Configuration: All of the Elsys LoRaWAN Sensors including the Elsys ERS-CO2 LoRaWAN sensor can be self-configured using the Android NFC app “SensorSettings“ available from Android Play. We also offer pre-configuration of sensors and gateways to your choice of The Things Network, private LNS, IoT Platform or other services. Contact us for more information.

Provisioning: We can pre-provision your sensors before shipment (*additional fee applies) for out-of-the-box-ready installation.  As part of the provisioning service, we can generate the APPEUI’s as a CSV, soak-test to ensure no DOA’s, and update to the latest firmware.  We also offer box and sensor branding on large orders, if you require us to drop-ship to your installation sites.

Frequency and Certification: All our sensors are CE certified, and available for any region including US902-928, EU863-870, AS923, AU915-928 and KR920-923. Deceleration of Conformity for EU, compliance with FCC Rules and Canada licence-exempt – available on request.

Batteries: Given their reliable performance across varying temperatures and humidity, and long shelf-life, we recommend the EVE lithium ION batteries.  Please note there may be delays in some batteries shipments due to transportation restrictions.  Professional EVE lithium ION batteries are recommended given reliable performance across varying temperatures and humidity.   Transport restrictions for batteries may delay some shipments.
